We were commissioned as part of the redevelopment of the Lister Hospital site and the incorporation of services from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Welwyn Garden City (a £76million project).
GK Transfomation were able to assist the Trust in the development of a number of business cases for services that would be affected. These included Medical Records, Combined Heat & Power Plant, Pharmacy and Facilities Management.
Working in conjunction with a wider project team that were focusing on the transfer and re-provision of clinical services at the Trust, GK Transformation developed a number of Outline and Full Business Cases, which were ultimately approved by the Trust Board, the Strategic Health Authority and HM Treasury.
The business cases, produced in line with a standard format laid down by the Trust, were significant documents and went through several stages including full Trust Board assessment, prior to their eventual approval. Throughout GK Transformation provided financial and technical guidance and advice to the Trust. The business cases included detailed analysis and assessments, for example within the Medical Records Business Case there were sections detailing;
